2021 Jeep Cherokee Altitude
Even if you know the 2021 Jeep Cherokee is the right model for you, you may not yet know which trim you will pick. Instead of getting to the dealership and getting caught up in deciding on a trim, here is some advice to help you decide if the Altitude trim is the right version of the Cherokee, or if you should try a different trim.
From lowest to highest, the Cherokee trims are the Sport, North, 80th Anniversary Edition, Trailhawk®, Altitude, Limited, High Altitude, and Trailhawk® Elite. This places the Altitude right in the middle, with three trims higher and three trims lower than it. This reason alone helps the Altitude since it balances features with costs. The chart below highlights the most important features of the 2021 Jeep Cherokee.
|2.0L Inline 4-Cylinder, or 3.2L Pentastar™ V6 Engine||Available Blind-Spot Monitoring System||Leather And Simulated Alloy Steering Wheel|
|271 Horsepower V6||Emergency Braking Preparation and Assist||Keyless Ignition|
|239 lb-ft of Torque V6||Available Park-Sense® Rear Park Assist||Auxiliary and USB Media Inputs|
|9-Speed Shiftable Automatic and All-Wheel Drive||LED Headlamps with Dusk Sensing||8-Way Power Driver Seat|
The Altitude trim is notable for a few things, especially its engine options and interior comfort. The ability to upgrade to a V6 engine, especially the praised Pentastar® Chrysler engine, will be appreciated by any of its drivers. No Cherokee Altitude owner will regret the inclusion of All-Wheel Drive either. While it may not have all the high tech features of higher trims, the leather steering wheel, and digital audio streaming options will go a long way.
