2020 Jeep Renegade Trim Levels
Jeep vehicles don’t have to be big, lumbering, unwieldy beasts on the road. Obviously Jeep vehicles are known for their off-road capability and rugged styling bred from the brand’s military origins, but Jeep has become something for everyone in recent years. New models like the Jeep Compass and Renegade have proven that Jeep can build a subcompact crossover SUV that is no less a Jeep than classic models like the Wrangler or Cherokee.
The Jeep Renegade is the smallest vehicle you can buy from Jeep right now since it is slightly shorter than the Jeep Compass. It has seven trim levels, meaning the difference between the lowest and highest trims changes by almost $10,000. The Sport is the standard Jeep Renegade, while the premium model is called the High Altitude. Higher trims get a more powerful turbocharged engine and a host of cosmetic changes as well as technological upgrades. Use the chart below to compare each trim and a couple of their featured highlights. Some features may be available as part of optional packages.

Trim Level Comparison and Analysis
The trims above are listed by price, low to high. The Jeep Renegade Sport promises a high-powered engine despite being at the lowest trim. At the highest trim, you get the best of everything, including the extra-large wheels, making it the best Renegade for aggressive off-road driving. Shoppers looking to get the most out of their Jeep per dollar should go with the Altitude. Those who want better performance with the turbocharged engine don’t need to get a trim higher than the Trailhawk® unless the promise of greater interior comfort and better infotainment is too appealing.
